I taught English at a school in Santa Marta, Nicaragua for almost 10 months. I decided to take these photos at school while at school. During my time there donations from charities and locals came in to build a new school for the children of this remote town in Nicaragua. They decided to move the school to a new new location so that they could expand the school and give the children a better place to learn. This was such an amazing process to see evolve. I documented our transtion to the new school which at times involved us having to teach in the open fields of the local town. The new school is now finished and the children couldn’t be happier. There is still a lot to be done in this town for these children and else where to continue to receive the best education possible. If you would like to help in anyway please contact me to get more info.
